What we watch
- Send a photo of both parts with dimensions if you have no file; we model an adapter in an hour.
- Snap hooks need 1.2 mm thickness and a radius at the root, or they crack on the tenth click.
- For clamping on pipes a slot with a screw works better than a pure press fit.
Common questions
Do the brackets carry load?
A PETG bracket at 50 % infill with 4 mm walls carries several kilograms; for permanent tensile load use metal screws through the part rather than plastic threads.
Do they survive in a car?
In ASA yes, up to 95 °C and UV-stable. PLA deforms behind a windscreen in summer.
Can you build an adapter without a file?
Yes, from photos with dimensions or from the two original parts at the collection point. €60 per started hour, usually one.
Recommended settings
- Material
- PETG (tough, snap fits survive), ASA in the car and outdoors, TPU for clamping
- Layer height
- 0.20 mm

- 50 % under load, 30 % for light brackets
- Orientation
- We lay the layers across the load so the bracket does not split along a layer

- ±0.2 mm; design clamp dimensions 0.1 mm undersize
