The standard for visible parts, models and prototypes. Stiff, dimensionally accurate, very good surface. Not for above 55 °C or permanent outdoor use.

For parts under load: brackets, housings, clips, adapters. Tougher than PLA, holds up to 75 °C, slightly glossy.

Layer height and infill
0.20 mm is the standard: good surface, sensible time. 0.12 mm for figures and lettering, 0.08 mm for miniatures. 0.28 mm for large parts with no visual demands. Infill sets weight and strength: 15 % for decor, 30 % for almost everything, 50 % for brackets under load, 100 % for gears and parts that get machined afterwards.
